Terms of use
Last updated:
These terms set out the rules for using equilibrarium.com, the website of Equilibrarium Tech. We have kept them as short and clear as we can. They do not take away any rights you have under consumer law.
In short
- Our website, equilibrarium.com, is free and for information only. It has no accounts, forms or purchases.
- You may browse the website, link to it, and print or save pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please do not misuse or attack it.
- Our content, company name and logos belong to us or our licensors. You may mention us and our games by name, but please ask before you reuse our content or logos beyond what these terms or the law allow.
- Nothing on the website, including anything about the Equilibrarium Finance Education App, is financial, investment or tax advice.
- Our games have not been released yet. Each will have its own terms and privacy notice before release.
- Cyprus law applies. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the consumer law where you live.
- Questions or complaints? Email info@equilibrarium.com.

2. About these terms
These terms of use (the ‘terms’) apply when you use equilibrarium.com, in English or in Greek (the ‘website’). If you email us, our Privacy policy explains how we handle your message, and the section ‘Feedback and ideas’ explains how we treat your suggestions.
By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
In these terms, ‘you’ means anyone who visits or uses the website. A ‘consumer’ is an individual acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession.
Anyone may browse the website. We do not ask for your age or any other details. If you are under 18, we suggest you read these terms with a parent or guardian.
If you use the website on behalf of a business or other organisation, you accept these terms for that organisation and confirm that you are allowed to do so.
3. What the website is
The website gives information about Equilibrarium Tech and about the educational games we are developing. It is free to use.
It is an information-only website. It has no user accounts, sign-ups, forms, comments, newsletters, chat, payments or software downloads, and nothing can be bought on it.
We plan to offer a newsletter or mailing list in future. Joining will always be optional, and we will update these terms and our Privacy policy before we start taking sign-ups.
You do not need to sign up or give us any details to use the website. Like most websites, it is hosted by a provider that keeps standard server logs, as our Privacy policy explains. If you would like to contact us, you can choose to email us.
4. Our games
We are developing two educational games. Neither has been released yet:
- The Equilibrarium Finance Education App, a life simulation game about financial education, expected in the first quarter of 2027.
- The Equilibrarium Theory of Games App, a gamified simulation for learning game theory and negotiation, expected in the second quarter of 2027.
These dates are our current estimates and may change. Any names, images and descriptions of our games show work in progress and may change before release. Nothing on the website is an offer to sell, a pre-order or a promise that a game will be released at a particular time or in a particular form.
Before each game is released, we will publish separate terms and a privacy notice for that game, and we will update these terms and our Privacy policy where needed. If a game’s own terms differ from these terms, the game’s terms will apply to that game.
5. Education, not advice
Everything on the website is general information, shared for educational and informational purposes. It is not tailored to your circumstances.
Nothing on the website is financial, investment, tax, legal or other professional advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any financial product or investment.
The Equilibrarium Finance Education App is for educational purposes only. It does not provide financial, investment or tax advice, and we do not provide investment services.
Before you make important financial decisions, please speak to a suitably qualified and authorised adviser.
6. Acceptable use
Please use the website lawfully and in a way that does not harm it, us or anyone else. In particular, you must not:
- use the website for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or any connected system, or get around any security measure;
- introduce viruses, malware or any other harmful code;
- overload or disrupt the website, for example through denial-of-service attacks or excessive automated requests;
- use bots, scrapers or other automated tools in a way that harms the website, puts an unreasonable load on it or copies its content in bulk;
- frame or mirror the website, or present its content as your own;
- pretend to be Equilibrarium Tech, or suggest a connection with us that does not exist.
Normal indexing by search engines is fine.
If you find a security weakness, please tell us at info@equilibrarium.com. Please do not exploit it, and please do not make it public until we have had a reasonable chance to fix it.
7. Our content
The website and its content, including text, images, illustrations, design, layout and code, belong to us or to those who have licensed them to us. They are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
We give you a personal, non-exclusive permission (a licence) to view the website, and to print or save copies of its pages for your own personal, non-commercial use, as long as you keep any copyright or other notices. You may also share links to any page. You may not transfer this permission to anyone else.
Except as these terms or the law allow, or as we agree in writing, you must not:
- copy, republish, sell, rent or distribute the content, or use it for commercial purposes;
- change or translate the content, or create new works based on it;
- extract content systematically, for example to build a database or dataset or to train artificial intelligence models;
- copy or reuse the website’s design or code;
- remove or hide any copyright, trade mark or other notice.
We do not permit text and data mining of the website’s content without our permission, including for training artificial intelligence models. This is an express reservation of our rights under Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790. It does not affect text and data mining that the law allows regardless of this reservation, such as scientific research by research organisations and cultural heritage institutions under Article 3 of that Directive.
Nothing in these terms limits what copyright law already allows you to do, such as quoting a short extract with credit where the law permits it. We keep all rights that these terms do not expressly give you.
8. Our names and logos
The Equilibrarium name and logos, and the logos of our games, are our brand assets. We treat them as our trade marks, whether or not they are registered.
You must not use our brand assets without our written permission. This includes using them, or anything confusingly similar, in product or company names, domain names, social media accounts, app names, advertising or merchandise, or in any way that suggests we sponsor, endorse or are connected with you.
You may refer to us and our games by name to describe them accurately, for example in a news article or review, as long as you do not use our logos and do not suggest a connection that does not exist.
To ask for permission, email info@equilibrarium.com. Please tell us who you are, which assets you would like to use, and how and where you plan to use them. Permission is valid only if we give it in writing, and an email from us counts.
9. Availability of the website
We may update, change, suspend or withdraw all or part of the website at any time, for example for maintenance, for security reasons, or to reflect changes to our business or our games. Where we can, we will keep any disruption short.
Some information on the website may become out of date. If you notice something that looks wrong, please let us know at info@equilibrarium.com.
10. Links to and from other websites
The website includes links to other websites, such as our company page on LinkedIn and the website of a public authority. We include them for your convenience only.
We do not control other websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link does not mean that we endorse a website. Each website’s own terms and policies apply when you visit it.
You are welcome to link to the website, as long as you do so fairly and lawfully and do not suggest any connection or endorsement that does not exist. We may ask you to remove a link that does not meet these conditions.
11. Concerns about content
If you believe that something on the website infringes your rights or is unlawful, please email info@equilibrarium.com. Tell us the page address, what the content is and why you are concerned. We will review it promptly and take appropriate action.
12. Feedback and ideas
We welcome feedback about the website and our work. If you send us comments or suggestions about the website or our games, we may use the ideas in them to improve our work, without payment or any other obligation to you. This does not make us the owner of your message, and we will not publish your message or your name without your permission. We handle any personal data in it as our Privacy policy describes.
Please do not send us confidential information or unsolicited creative work, such as game concepts, stories or artwork. We develop our own products and do not take on client work. We may already be working on similar ideas, so we cannot agree to keep unsolicited material confidential or to pay for it.
This section does not affect any rights you have that cannot be given up by law.
13. What we can and cannot promise
We provide the website free of charge, for general information. We work to keep it accurate, secure and available, but we cannot promise that it will always be complete, up to date, uninterrupted or free from errors.
We cannot guarantee that the website is free from viruses or other harmful code, so please use up-to-date security software on your device.
This section does not affect any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
14. Our responsibility to you
If you are a consumer and we break these terms or fail to take reasonable care, we are responsible for the loss or damage this causes you, where it was a likely result that both you and we could have expected when you used the website. We are not responsible for other, unexpected loss or damage.
Because the website is free and offered for general information, we are not responsible to consumers for business-related losses, such as lost profits, income or business opportunities.
If you use the website for business purposes, then, to the extent the law allows, we are not responsible to you for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, income, business, goodwill or data. You also agree to cover reasonable losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that we incur because you broke these terms. This paragraph does not apply to consumers.
These terms never exclude or limit our responsibility where the law does not allow it. For example, they do not limit our responsibility for:
- death or personal injury that we cause;
- fraud, or harm we cause deliberately or through gross negligence;
- your rights under mandatory consumer protection law.
15. Restricting access
We may restrict, suspend or block access to all or part of the website for anyone who breaks these terms, misuses the website or puts its security at risk, or where the law requires it. For example, we may block harmful automated traffic. Any action we take will be in proportion to the problem.
You may stop using the website at any time. The parts of these terms that are meant to continue, such as those about our content, our names and logos, our responsibility and disputes, will still apply.
16. Privacy
Our Privacy policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit the website or email us, why, and what rights you have. In short:
- the website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or session recording;
- it loads nothing from third parties, such as external fonts, scripts, maps, videos or social media plugins;
- if you use the light or dark appearance switch, or pause the animations, your choice is saved only in your own browser, is never sent to us and can be cleared in your browser at any time;
- our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for no longer than 30 days, to keep the website secure and running;
- emails you send to info@equilibrarium.com are handled by our email provider;
- we use the personal data in your emails to deal with your message and reply to you, and for anything else only where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights, and we keep it only for as long as we need to;
- we never sell or rent personal data, and we do no profiling or automated decision-making.
If you have a concern about how we handle personal data, you can complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus (www.dataprotection.gov.cy) or to the data protection authority where you live.
Please read the Privacy policy for the full details.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the website, our games or the law. When we do, we will publish the new version on this page and change the ‘Last updated’ date at the top. If you would like a copy of an earlier version, please email info@equilibrarium.com.
If we make an important change, we will also say so clearly at the top of this page for a reasonable period. The website has no accounts, so we cannot tell you about changes individually.
Changes apply from the date we publish them and do not apply to anything that happened before then. If you do not agree with an updated version, please stop using the website.
18. Complaints, law and courts
If you have a concern or complaint, please email info@equilibrarium.com first. Tell us what happened and what you would like us to do. We will look into it and aim to resolve it fairly and promptly.
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Cyprus. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
If you are a consumer living in the European Union, you may bring a claim in the courts of the Republic of Cyprus or in the courts of the country where you live. We will bring any claim against you only in the courts of the country where you live.
If you use the website for business purposes, the courts of the Republic of Cyprus have exclusive jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you can also get free advice about a dispute with a business in another EU country from the European Consumer Centre in your country.
19. Other legal points
If a court or authority decides that any part of these terms is invalid or cannot be enforced, the rest of the terms will still apply.
If we do not enforce one of our rights straight away, we can still enforce it later. A delay does not mean we have given that right up.
These terms, together with any written permission we give you under them, make up the agreement between you and us about your use of the website. Once a game is released, that game’s own terms will also apply to it.
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation, for example if our business is reorganised or sold. This will not reduce your rights under these terms.
These terms are available in English and Greek, and both versions are meant to say the same thing. If they ever differ and you are a consumer, you may rely on whichever version is more favourable to you. Otherwise, the English version applies. If you are a consumer and a term is unclear, it will be read in the way that is most favourable to you.
20. Contact us
If you have any questions about these terms, please email info@equilibrarium.com. Email is the best way to reach us, and we will reply as soon as we reasonably can.
Our company details and address are set out under ‘Who we are’ at the top of these terms.
